1. Physical and Chemical Properties:
      Yellow to reddish-brown slightly turbid viscous liquid, sodium ethoxide dissolved in absolute ethanol.

      It is mainly used as a strongly alkaline catalyst and ethoxylating agent, and can also be used in the organic synthesis of medicine, pesticides, and spices.
